This site will help make you a better cook, an adept gardener, and good-looking. Also, I'm not from or in Tuscany, and I'm a man.
When I can figure out how to get a list of the other posts in this category here, it will be. For now, just some pictures. =)
Part of keeping a good house, is keeping a good house within budget. I’m not always the best at this, but in my attempts to do better, I’ve got some tips for keeping your groceries within budget.
First, use cash. Take your set amount out at the beginning of the week, and then have your spouse hide your cash card. You think a lot more about that $15 lunch at Wahoo’s when you’re staring a lone $20 in your wallet on Thursday. Second, plan your menu, so you know exactly what you need to buy and when. Instead of doing the wander-around-Whole-Foods-blowing-$200, you’ll be in and out like a SEAL Team strike.
With that in mind, here’s my menu for the week. The usual write-ups after I cook and eat them.
There they are, I’ve actually got some of next week planned out and I have a couple alternate recipes that I could mix in depending on feelings, weather, and energy level.
