My Bloody Mary Mix, Thanksgiving 2005

This year at Thanksgiving, I made a southwest-style Bloody Mary mix. It was a big hit. Of course, I didn’t write down the recipe, but I have attempted to recreate it. Mix this up, and then dilute your vodka with it the next morning.

ingredients

  • 18 oz V8 regular blend
  • 1/4 cup finely diced onion
  • 1/4 cup finely diced celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 chipotlé in adobo, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 shakes of habeñero sauce ( optional )
  • salt and pepper to taste

method

combine ingredients, making sure to scoop the chipotlé and all its juices into your container. refrigerate overnight if possible.
