Close Enough
Ok. Well, you’re probably noticing some new things.
First and foremost, I’ve officially changed the name. After much Holiday laughter and gifts, I decided that The Tuscan Housewife was moving from my mind to the focus of the site. You probably won’t notice any change in content, but the look is new, and I’m hoping it will help me focus my energies even more. You should now access the site via the shiny new URL, thetuscanhousewife.com although the old one will continue to work.
Second, I moved back to Movable Type. I had a nice little affair with Wordpress, and it’s not bad software by any means, but I’m more comfortable with the way MT works, I like the interface better, and it is easier for me personally to make changes to the software and site. That said, there are still little tweaks that are happening, and will continue to happen. More features and goodies will appear, more content as always, and generally reworking.
Third, I haven’t deleted any old content, and I’m in the process of migrating into MT. Wordpress has great import options, but no export. Thanks guys. The principle of that is almost enough to keep me from using it.
Anyway, if you notice anything wrong, missing, or weird, please let me know in the comments. A contact form will appear soon. =)
